Public Arts Fellowship Program
The C3Lab Public Arts Fellowship Program was created as a continuation of the mission of the former C3Lab creative coworking hub of supporting artists in the community and promoting cultural vitality in the Southeast. After the closure of the art & maker studios, a reimagination of a working environment that targeted professional education, environmental support and hands-on experience was constructed by the parent company ACSM Inc, as a focused opportunity to assist emerging and mid-level career artists looking to broaden their careers in the public arts realm with an entire year of concentrated knowledge and support.
This inaugural fellowship program is the first of its kind in the country. Participating fellows will experience the design+build process for creating, designing, fabricating, and installing public art. Comprehensive aspects from learning proper materials selection to professional photographs of their final public sculpture will be fully covered in this expansive educational experience.
